| KV Raigarh has been started from 1997. Central Govt. Employees have been immensely benefited by the scheme of KVS as their children get priority in admissions. it excels in all fields and fulfills all the parameters of education.
The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education, (H.R.D.) Govt. of India, New Delhi. As result of the recommendations of the second Pay Commission. They Primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Govt. Employees including Defence Personnel and floating population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Needless to say, therefore they have common syllabus and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Our Mission
KVS has a four fold mission viz:-

To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among children.

No tuition fee for boys upto Class VIII, girls upto Class XII and SC/ST students and children of KVS employees.
